GUACOMOLE

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper (optional for a spicy kick)

Instructions:

  1. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop out the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork, leaving some chunks for texture.
  3. Add lime juice and salt, then mix well.
  4. Fold in the diced onion, chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes, and minced garlic.
  5. For a bit of heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper if desired.
  6. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  7. Serve the guacamole immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.
