GUACOMOLE
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 pinch of cayenne pepper (optional for a spicy kick)
Instructions:
- Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop out the flesh into a mixing bowl.
- Mash the avocados with a fork, leaving some chunks for texture.
- Add lime juice and salt, then mix well.
- Fold in the diced onion, chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes, and minced garlic.
- For a bit of heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper if desired.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Serve the guacamole immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.
