: Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Cook the Chicken:

    • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  4. Add Cream and Parmesan:

    • Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, thyme, rosemary, and oregano. Simmer the sauce for 3-4 minutes, allowing it to thicken.
  5. Combine Chicken and Sauce:

    • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce over each chicken breast. Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the chicken is heated through.
  6. Optional Pasta:

    • Meanwhile, cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and toss with a little olive oil.
  7. Serve:

    • Place the creamy garlic Parmesan chicken over the cooked fettuccine pasta or on its own. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
  8. Enjoy:

    • Serve the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken hot, and savor the rich flavors. This dish pairs well with a side of steamed vegetables or a crisp salad.

Note: Feel free to customize this recipe by adding your favorite herbs or vegetables to the sauce. Additionally, adjusting the thickness of the sauce can be done by adding more or less chicken broth or heavy cream according to your preference.
