Recipe: Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Fettuccine: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.

  2. Cook the Chicken: Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  4. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow the broth to simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.

  5. Lower the heat to medium-low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir well to combine with the broth and garlic.

  6. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning to the skillet, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.

  7. Return the cooked chicken strips to the skillet, tossing to coat them evenly with the creamy sauce.

  8. Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet, tossing gently to coat the pasta with the sauce and chicken. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash of chicken broth to loosen it up.

  9. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste, if needed.

  10. Garnish the creamy garlic Parmesan chicken pasta with freshly chopped parsley.

  11. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious homemade meal!

Note: You can customize this recipe by adding sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor and nutrition. Feel free to adjust the seasoning and cheese to suit your taste preferences.
