Recipe: Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces of linguine pasta (or pasta of your choice)
- 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the linguine pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.
Prepare the Shrimp:
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season them with salt and black pepper to taste.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.

Combine the Pasta and Sauce:
- Add the cooked linguine pasta to the skillet with the shrimp and sauce.

- If the sauce seems too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen it up.
Serve:
