Recipe: Grilled Lemon Herb Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets, skin-on or skinless
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, dill, or thyme)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Grill:

    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 375°F to 400°F (190°C to 200°C).
  2. Prepare the Marinade:

    • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, chopped fresh herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Marinate the Salmon:

    • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, coating each fillet evenly. Allow the salmon to marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  4. Grill the Salmon:

    • Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard any excess marinade. Place the lemon slices on the grill grates and lay the salmon fillets on top, either directly on the grill or on a piece of foil for easier cleanup.
    • Grill the salmon for about 4-5 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Serve:

    • Transfer the grilled salmon to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
    • Serve the grilled lemon herb salmon hot with your favorite side dishes, such as rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
  6. Enjoy!

    • Enjoy this flavorful and nutritious grilled lemon herb salmon as a delicious main course for lunch or dinner. The combination of fresh herbs, garlic, and lemon adds brightness and depth of flavor to the tender, succulent salmon fillets.
