Recipe: Lemon Garlic Roasted Brussels Sprouts

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Brussels Sprouts:

    • Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half lengthwise. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Make the Lemon Garlic Sauce:

    • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  4. Coat the Brussels Sprouts:
